Choosing the best multi-vitamin brands is one of the wisest choices you can make, but sometimes you just happen to run into bad nutritional products and vitamin supplements. When that happens, you should keep an eye out for any possible side-effects you might run into.
There are a lot of problems that can occur when you use a low-quality multi-vitamin brand, which is why I've written about them below. If you start seeing anything like headaches, frequent urination, fatigue or diarrhea, you might want to check if it is your supplement causing all those symptoms.
Vitamin A Products
Here are just three dangerous side-effects of using the wrong dietary products:
1. Shortened lifespan is possible if you consume excessive amounts of vitamin A and vitamin E suggest recent studies and research. Make sure your products only contain enough vitamins and minerals and not more. Many companies stuff their products with cheap nutrients and use them as "fillers". Look out for this.
2. Birth defects are again caused by excessive consumption of vitamin A. This happens because of vitamin A's high retinol content. This is why pregnant women should only take a multivitamin that has been approved by their doctor.
3. Renal stone formation can happen if you consume too much vitamin C. It can eventually lead to kidney failure, but don't worry, you have to take a lot of vitamin C for this to happen. To avoid all of these problems completely, make sure you only buy a natural multi-vitamin brand that is produced by a company that knows what they are doing.
